Duties: Position assignments could include any of the following in Principal's office secretarial work, job coaching, Educational Life Skills classroom assistance, class supervision, push-in general classroom assistance, and Resource Room assistance. General responsibilities: This work involves close interaction with staff, and students with the primary emphasis on the implementation of specialized educational programs. This employee works under the direction of certified staff. He/she is expected to exercise independent judgment, discretion, confidentiality, and react appropriately in crisis situations, as well as exhibit initiative, creativity, and organizational skills.
Qualifications: 1. Possession of or ability to obtain Illinois Professional Educator License with Stipulations—Paraprofessional, or other ISBE educator license that requires a college degree. 2. Knowledge of Special Education high school students’ needs and behavior issues. 3. Strong subject knowledge in core academic area or areas, including Geometry and Algebra. 4. Experience with special needs student population. 5. Strong behavior management skills; Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention (NVPCI) training preferred. 6. Ability to move about frequently in the classroom and in various other parts of the school; ability to stand stretch, lift and bend as required to assist students. 7. Ability to keyboard rapidly and accurately and use various types of software applications and assistive technology. 8. Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and distinctly with staff and students.

Salary/Benefits: Rate of pay—Per Association Contract, Head Football Coach is paid $6,022 for the 2018-2019 school year.
Duties: Mendota High School is accepting applications for the Head Varsity Football Coach position. Candidates of choice will develop present and future players. The Head Coach will work with local feeder programs to promote the sport of football. The Head coach is responsible for leading six paid assistant coaches and additional volunteers. As numbers warrant, there is a freshman football team, sophomore football team, and varsity football team to compete in the Big Northern Conference.
Qualifications: Candidate of choice should be willing to start in late spring/early summer 2018 for summer schedule. The coach must also be willing to serve as the liaison between the school district, local media, feeder districts, feeder organizations, and booster organizations. Prior experience as a football coach is preferred. Consideration will be given to previous player experience. IHSA and ASEP training must be completing before coaching begins, or Illinois Teaching Licensure.
