Duties

Full-time science instructor. MHS offers a well-rounded science curriculum.  The teaching assignment could include any of the MHS offerings. The MHS curriculum includes the following courses:  Biology I, Biology I Honors, Chemistry, Chemistry Honors, Anatomy and Physiology, Biology II,  Physics, Earth Science, and S.T.E.M. outreach.

Additional Notes

MHS instructors teach 5 of 7 periods with two duty-free preps for 94 minutes of daily prep.  MHS also requires all teachers are assigned to a 30-minute Period 8 intervention for a structured study hall or time to work with struggling students or honor requests for additional help. MHS is in a new building with current laboratory equipment and resources. MHS students are 1:1 with Chromebooks.
