ACT and Test Preparation

All Juniors at Mendota High School are required to take the Prairie State Achievement Exam. Day One of the PSAE test is the ACT test.  Students are encouraged to take advantage of the free ACT test and perform to the best of their ability.  Below are some valuable resources to assist students and parents.

College Readiness Standards are sets of statements intended to help you understand the meaning of the scores earned on the EXPLORE, PLAN, and ACT tests.  (ACT's three curriculum-based assessment programs.)  Students at Mendota High school take the EXPLORE as 8th graders, PLAN as both 9th and 10th graders, and the ACT as 11th graders.
