Budget Hearing Minutes

September 25, 2006

            The Budget Hearing of the Board of Education of Mendota Township High School District 280, LaSalle, Bureau, and Lee Counties, Illinois was held in the high school boardroom on Monday, September 25, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.

            President Bauer called the hearing to order.  On roll cal the following members were recorded as present:  Burke, Flahive, Holdenrid, Jauch, Strouss, and Bauer.

            Supt Prusator noted that the budget that was presented at the August 21, 2006 Board Meeting would show the following FY07 balances.

            Education Fund          -$450,000

            O&M Fund                 -$577,000 (Tennis Court Project and Land Purchase)

            Bond & Interest          +$9,021                      

            Transportation             +$5,118

            IMRF/FICA                -$21,204         

            Working Cash             +$78,632

            Fire Safety                  -$511

Supt. Prusator distributed a spreadsheet with total budget numbers and year end estimated figures.  Further discussion followed.  Bauer asked for further questions or comments in regard to the FY07 budget.

            A motion was made by Bauer, seconded by Burke to adjourn the budget hearing.

The vote was unanimous by acclamation.

            The Budget Hearing adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
