Waiver of School Holidays

September 25, 2006

            The Public Hearing for Waiver of School Holidays by the Board of Education of Mendota Township High School District 280, LaSalle, Bureau, and Lee Counties, Illinois was held in the high school boardroom on Monday, September 25, 2006 at 7:10 p.m

            President Bauer called the hearing to order.  On roll call the following members were recorded as present:  Burke, Flahive, Holdenrid, Jauch, Strouss, and Bauer.

            Supt. Prusator told the board that a hearing needed to be held because the Waiver of School Holidays which is in place is set to expire this year.  If this waiver is approved, it will apply to the next five years. 

            Bauer asked for questions or comments on the Waiver.  With no questions or comments, a motion was made by Bauer, seconded by Holdenrid to adjourn the Waiver of School Holidays Public Hearing.  The vote was unanimous be acclamation.

            The Public Hearing adjourned at approx. 7:15 p.m.
